Senior Ministries
Reverend, Jerry Helton serves
as Pastoral Consultant. We strive to channel senior’s
talents and needs in ways that benefit the church and the
community.
Senior Ministries also provides
a network for seniors who are homebound or have special
needs. We recognize their years of contributions to the
life of the church and seek to channel their talents and
vitality into avenues in which they can remain productive
and active.
We meet on the first Thursday
of the month. A typical session might deal with health care,
finances or spiritual and intellectual growth. We have meals
together and special outings. If you are looking for a place
to belong, you will find it here.
In the future we hope to
provide assistance in the preparation of wills, durable
powers of attorney, banking for shut-ins, etc. We strive
to educate our congregation in contingency plans for their
future needs.
We are hopeful that in the future we can assemble a file
of vital information to be retained at the church, including
next of kin and other personal information as you deem necessary,
to help you in your future needs.
